Full Job Description
Overview
TeliTire is seeking motivated, customer-focused Mobile Technician who wants to help TeliTire change the way fleet maintenance is performed.
A technician’s typical shift is spent with one of our mobile installation vans at a vehicle fleet location providing our convenient service. Each fleet customer has a pre-scheduled appointment for oil change and tire change services at their fleet’s location. Customer tires and oil are either pre-purchased or picked up at our vendors located around the city. Disposal is handled by the TeliTire team.
Your exceptional customer service and timeliness on shift will ensure our customers’ fleets are operating as efficiently as possible. In return, we’ll ensure you have everything you need for success – a two-week ride along training program, mobile installation van, all the tools needed, tire + oil changing equipment, rain gear, and more. You’ll earn competitive income working very flexible hours while you further develop your skills and build a career that’s perfect for you.
Typical fleet service/maintenance shifts last between 7 and 12 hours. Shifts are scheduled up to 4/5 days per week usually between the hours of 8pm EST and 8am EST.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Perform oil changes on various vehicles

Perform basic tire services (e.g. mounting and balancing tires, installations and repairs)

Load and drive the mobile installation van safely and professionally to and from all scheduled appointments and conduct proper safety checks when installing tires

Greet customers at their place of residence or work, explaining the process, answering questions, and ensuring an outstanding experience overall

Ensure customer satisfaction, each and every time

Follow TeliTire policies and procedures on every installation

Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting (up to 80 pounds), standing, bending, and squatting

An understanding that your actions at work around customers, and in public, reflect on TeliTire as you are a member of this fast paced startup company!
Job Requirements:

Must be 21 years of age or older
-
Must have a current and valid driver’s license
-
No more than 2 moving violations and/or 1 accident on driving record in the past 5 years
-
No drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record in the past 5 years
-
TIA Certification (or willing to obtain)

Prior experience in tire service is preferred but willing to train onsite

Authorized to work in the U.S.
Job Type: Part-time/Full-Time
Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
